- Season: 4 weeks from the first Wednesday of November to the last Saturday. No rifle hunting Sunday to Tuesday.
- Terrain: Spot and stalk. Wooded river valleys, farmland edges, and rolling hills
- Success Rate: High, with opportunities to harvest Whitetail bucks scoring 140-160+ inches
- Physical Requirements: Low to moderate—stand hunting involves long periods of waiting and patience
