- Season: 4 Weeks from the first Wednesday of November to the last Saturday. No rifle hunting Sunday to Tuesday.
- Terrain: Rolling prairie, coulees, and native grasslands
- Success Rate: High, with opportunities to harvest mature Mule Deer bucks scoring 170+ inches
- Physical Requirements: Moderate to high—hunters should be prepared to walk, kneel, and even belly-crawl for the perfect shot
